Rochard

Rochard is an action indie science fiction video game developed by Recoil Games. Get ready to manipulate gravity. Play as John Rochard, an astro-miner. He was one day doing his job and accidentally discovers an ancient structure (that happens to be an alien temple) located in an asteroid. At the same time, space bandits were also after what the temple has to offer and goes after Rochard. Join Rochard as he takes on a journey across the Solar System to discover the meaning of the ancient glyphs and the mystery that is hidden in the alien temple. Go through mind bending puzzles as well as battle in combat in this two-dimensional side-scrolling game. To be able to get through the challenges, you will have to master how to use gravity to your advantage. You will also be equipped with a G-Lifter which can control the gravity of some of the objects around you like crates, containers and explosives. You could either grab, shoot or drop these objects. This weapon can also be upgraded into a G-Beam also a G-Swing. There will be force fields that you would be able to use to block certain objects like the Bio force field, which blocks human characters, Matter force field, blocks inanimate objects, Energy force field, blocks weapon fire and explosion and last is the Omni force field that blocks everything. Join Rochard as he uncovers the story of villains, an alien civilization, as well as being a hero and saving a damsel in distress.
