Jazzpunk

Jazzpunk is an adventure video game developed by Necrophone Games and published by Adult Swim Games. Using a single-player first-person perspective, the game focuses on puzzle-solving, exploration and comedy. The story revolves around an intelligence agency found in a deserted subway station in Japan. The player will be put in the shoes of Polyblank, a silent protagonist as he embarks an unforgettable adventure on a fun-filled retro-futuristic locations, and perform all manners of gadget-driven capers. Jazzpunk is a combination of cartoon cyberpunk; dense technology-infused locales, coated with a fresh coat of color and comedy: a cast of over 360,000 polygons, dozens and dozens of jokes, and it contains 5% of recommended daily intake of vitamin C++. This game is a prime example of what a graphic adventure should be. It’s got it all: an entertaining story, great writing, creative but logical puzzles, good voice acting and original soundtrack, beautiful artwork and a killer sense of humor. What’s here is undoubtedly high quality, but some may find themselves just wanting more of the game. It’s a blessing and a curse.
