Natural Selection 2

Natural Selection 2 is an action, indie, strategy videogame developed and published by Unknown Worlds Entertainment. It is a combination of a first person shooter and real-time strategy videogame. There will be 2 teams fighting for resources and as well as territories. You can either be on the human team or the alien team. Gameplay for each team is different although your ultimate goal is the same. If you choose to be the Frontiersmen or the humans you will be equipped with weapons like guns and high technology items to defeat the aliens. If you’d rather be on the Kharaa or the alien side you will rely on melee attacks but you will have some special abilities, some can fly, walk on walls or have tremendous speed. Both teams are able to upgrade with a currency system, for the Frontiersmen it is to buy better equipment and for the Kharaa it is to evolve into higher lifeforms. What makes the game special is that you can choose a commander for each team. The commander is the one that is able to look down on the battlefield and is able to play the game in real time strategy. They are responsible for placing structures like buildings or walls or dropping items to aid their teams. Whether you be on the human or the alien side, your shooting, tactical and strategy skills will be the thing that will win the game for you!
