Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is an action puzzle video game that is developed by Nintendo EAD Tokyo and published by Nintendo. The game is actually a spin-off of the Super Mario series which takes inspiration from a minigame in Super Mario 3D World. The game is all about the adventures of Captain Toad and Toadette with players being able to use one or the other depending on the mission. Players are able to change the camera view around the level in order to show some hidden areas that may have some hidden items. Mushrooms can be collected to restore health. Captain Toad is able to walk and run but is not able to jump. He also has the ability to pick up things from the ground and throw it at the opponent, he can also use the super pickax to kill enemies as well as clear obstacle blocks.
