Chainsaw Warrior

Chainsaw Warrior is an indie adventure strategy RPG developed and published by Auroch Digital and is based on a single-player board game of the same name first released in the eighties. It is set in a future version of New York in the year 2032 which is under invasion from evil, otherworldy forces. You have sixty minutes to navigate a labyrinth composed of an abandoned urban slum in New York represented by two decks of cards, locate the dark entity attempting to destroy the city, and kill it. With only an hour left before New York disappears forever, you face the toughest challenge of your glorious career. Will you defeat Darkness in time? This is fantastic little game that really can suck you in – great atmosphere, super-cheesy plot about saving New York from a horde of monsters out of this world, nice visuals and sound. This is a great enjoyable card-driven game. Simple in its execution, elegant in its design, and offers a sophisticated gameplay. If you are a fan of Games Workshop or the original board game, or fancy playing numerous short turn-around games, then this is a good buy.
