Don’t Starve is a 2013 action–adventure video game with survival and roguelike elements, developed and published by the Canadian indie company Klei Entertainment. Don’t Starve takes you in a randomly generated open world and introduces elements of survival and semi-challenging gameplay. It offers an uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science and magic. You will take on the role of Wilson, an intrepid Gentleman Scientist who has been trapped by a demon and transported to a mysterious wilderness world. You must learn to make use of the environment and its inhabitants if you ever wish to escape and find your way back home. No instructions. No help. No hand holding. Start with nothing and craft, hunt, research, farm and fight to survive. This game introduces you to a 3D world with 2D characters and odd creatures inhabiting it.
